Hon.Chief Mrs . Margaret m. Icheen, a politician, philanthropist, Farmer, Business woman,. Educationist,and Employer was born on the 26 the day of June 1957 in vandeikya Local government Area of Benue State. She enrolled in the famous our Lady of Apostle primary school kaduna but moved to St. Williams primary school keffi in 1966 where she completed primary education 1969. She was admitted into Gyel commercial college, Bukuru Jos plateau State in 1970-1974 and later moved to government Teachers college keffi 1975 and completed in 1977, Her movement from one school to another was synanumous with his father’s transfer from one station to the other
Chief Icheen, proceed to college of Education Katsina-Ala ( an affiliate of University of Jos) completed and obtained National Certificate of Education in 1985 with flying colors , to crown her educational quest she proceeded to obtain a B.Ed (Hons) social studies, at institute of Christian studies mkar now mkar University .
